New Year Pet Portraits
New Year's DayFriday 1 January 2027In 72 days
A new year is a fine moment to celebrate the animal who saw you through the last one. Our New Year celebration style puts your pet in a sparkly party hat against a midnight-blue sky, with gold fireworks opening overhead, confetti drifting down and a clock edging towards twelve.
Upload a photo of any pet, add a name or a short greeting, and Pawzivra creates the artwork with AI once you have paid. Send it as a New Year message, frame it for the hallway or keep it as a phone wallpaper for the months ahead.
Digital portraits from £12.99. Prints, frames and canvases can be added after your portrait is ready.

Ideas for your New Year portrait
A New Year greeting
Email the digital file to friends and relatives on the first of January as a cheerful hello from the whole household, pets included.
One portrait every year
Order a framed print each January and hang them side by side, so you can watch your pet grow up, settle down and go grey around the muzzle.
Winter lock screen
Set the gold and midnight-blue artwork as your phone background for a small lift on dark January mornings before the commute.
Countdown social post
Share the portrait just after midnight with your pet's name and the new year typeset neatly along the bottom of the picture.
Why New Year's Day suits a pet portrait
New Year's Day is a bank holiday across the UK, with Scotland taking 2 January off as well, and a federal holiday in the United States. For plenty of households it is the slowest day on the calendar: a late breakfast, a muddy walk, an afternoon on the sofa with the dog stretched across your feet. It is also when people look back. A portrait can mark the year your puppy grew up, your rescue cat finally settled in, or your elderly pony reached one more birthday.
Because nobody expects a present on 1 January, a New Year portrait can simply be something you make for yourself, or a light-hearted greeting for friends you did not manage to see over Christmas.
What the New Year artwork looks like
The New Year celebration style is built on gold and midnight blue. Your pet sits at the centre in a glittering party hat while fireworks burst in the sky behind and confetti catches the light. A clock face hangs nearby with its hands just short of midnight. We keep numbers and letters out of the scene on purpose, because AI image tools tend to garble them.
Plenty of pets hide under the bed when real fireworks start. These ones stay quietly on paper.
Names, greetings and the year
Want words on the picture? Add them in the text step: your pet's name, the year, or a line such as "Happy New Year from Pepper". Our software typesets the text on top of the finished image, so it is spelled exactly as you typed it, and the live preview shows the font before you pay.
Greetings, prints and wallpapers
- A greeting for friends: email the file or drop it into the family group chat on the first morning of the year.
- An annual print: order one each January and hang the collection in a row along the landing.
- A wallpaper: a bit of sparkle on your lock screen through the darkest weeks of winter.
- A midnight post: share your pet's party look the moment the countdown ends.
Timing your order
Digital portraits are created after payment. Most portraits are ready within an hour of payment. Busy periods or complex scenes can take longer. That makes a download the easy choice if you are getting organised on New Year's Eve. Printed pieces add production and postage on top, and late December is the busiest stretch of the year for carriers, so order a framed print or canvas well before the holidays. Delivery options and times are shown at checkout, and our shipping and delivery page explains how parcels reach UK and US addresses.
Other ways to see in the year
The New Year design is one of several themed looks in our holidays and celebrations collection. If party hats are not your pet's thing, a calm pastel watercolour or a traditional oil painting works just as well for a fresh start, and any style can carry a name and date.

All stylesQuestions about New Year portraits
Can I get a New Year portrait in time for 1 January?
Yes, if you choose a digital download. Most portraits are ready within an hour of payment. Busy periods or complex scenes can take longer. The files arrive through a secure email link, so you can share them at midnight. Printed products take longer because our print partner produces and posts them, and late December is a busy time for carriers, so order prints well ahead.
Can the year appear on the picture?
Yes. Type the year, your pet's name or a short greeting in the text step and pick a font. Our software adds the words after the artwork is made, so they are spelled exactly as entered. The AI scene itself contains no numbers or lettering, which keeps it clean.
Does the party hat suit animals other than dogs?
It suits almost any animal. Cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, parrots, horses and even tortoises can wear the hat, because the style adds it for you rather than your pet needing to wear one in the photo. Choose a clear, well-lit shot with the face fully visible.
Is the New Year artwork made by AI?
Yes. Once you have paid, AI generates the whole scene, from the party hat to the last scrap of confetti, following the New Year style we built. We work to keep your pet's species, markings and eye colour, but no AI can promise an exact likeness, so 2 extra versions come with each order.
