Personalized Pet Portraits for Los Angeles
Los Angeles pets get more sunshine than most, whether they are hiking Griffith Park, rolling in the sand at a dog beach or lounging on a Silver Lake porch. Pawzivra turns a photo of your pet into personalized artwork made by AI and shaped by a set of styles we have chosen, from classic oils to bright graphic posters.
Got a bearded dragon, a tortoise or a parrot? Every species is welcome, and you simply tell us what kind of animal it is. Choose a style, preview any text, pay through PayPal and download your files by email. Prints ship to any LA address.
Trails, canyons and beaches
Griffith Park and the hills
Griffith Park's trails give you chaparral, city views and, on the right path, the Hollywood sign behind your dog. Lake Hollywood Park offers a closer view of the sign. Keep dogs leashed on trails and carry plenty of water.
By the ocean
Most beaches in the area do not allow dogs, but Rosie's Dog Beach in Long Beach is a designated off-leash stretch of sand. Check the posted rules and hours before you go.
Working with Southern California light
Bright sun is the main challenge. Midday light flattens features and makes pets squint, so shoot in the hour after sunrise or before sunset. Early summer often brings a cloudy marine layer to the coast, which gives soft, even light. Our pet photo tips explain more.
Pets beyond cats and dogs
Many Angelenos share their homes with bearded dragons, tortoises, snakes and parrots. The reptile and exotic pet page has ideas, and bright styles from the colorful modern collection suit scales and plumage.
Occasions
A rescue's first year home, a birthday pool party for the dog, a holiday card idea, or a tribute to a cat who spent years on the porch. When you are ready, start your pet's portrait.

Our services in Los Angeles
Classic fine art portraits
Painterly portraits in the manner of traditional oils and the old masters, with rich shadows and careful attention to coat texture. A considered choice for a Craftsman bungalow, a Spanish-style home or a living room that needs one strong piece.
Royal & character portraits
Picture your pet in a velvet cape, a jeweled crown or the stiff collar of a Victorian portrait sitter, with their own face at the center. Costumed portraits like these make a fun birthday surprise, and they work just as well for a tortoise as for a Great Dane.
Watercolor & sketch portraits
Soft watercolor in pastel tones, expressive splashes, monochrome ink, pencil, charcoal and minimal line art. These lighter styles suit airy rooms full of daylight and pick out whiskers, feathers and the fine scale patterns of reptiles.
Colorful & modern portraits
Bright pop art, multicolor paint splash, contemporary acrylic, cartoon and modern digital illustration. Bold color and graphic shapes feel right at home in LA's sunlit spaces and suit pets with outsized personalities and striking markings.
Minimal & keepsake portraits
Simple keepsakes including a neutral silhouette, a gallery-style composition and a black and white portrait. The memorial tribute style lets you add a name, dates or a short dedication, placed by our software and spelled exactly right.
Scenes & group portraits
Multi-pet family portraits, you with your pet, or scenes such as an outdoor adventure, a seasonal backdrop or a birthday celebration. You can also describe a custom scene, such as your dog riding a surfboard.
Printed, framed & canvas portraits
Something to hang? Our professional print partner can produce a framed print, canvas, poster or art print and ship it anywhere in the US, or to the UK. You review a proof of the crop and wording before you pay.
Digital downloads
Your portrait as high-resolution digital files, sent through a secure link that expires after a set number of days. Use them online, print at home or keep them safe, with extra versions available if you want to compare.
Questions from Los Angeles
Can I order a portrait of my bearded dragon?
Yes. Lizards, snakes, tortoises and other reptiles are welcome. Photograph them in bright shade rather than direct sun, at their own level, with the eye in focus. A plain background helps the scale pattern and coloring stand out.
How do I avoid harsh shadows in my photos?
Shoot early in the morning or late in the afternoon, or move your pet into open shade under a tree or porch. Avoid midday sun overhead, which creates dark eye shadows and squinting. A cloudy coastal morning is ideal.
Do you ship prints to the San Fernando Valley?
Sure. The Valley, the Westside, Long Beach and the rest of Southern California all fall within our print partner's US shipping. You will get tracking by email if the partner provides it, but we do not guarantee particular delivery days.
Can I include my pet and me together?
Yes. The pet with owner style places you alongside your pet. Upload a clear, well-lit photo of each of you with faces visible. Results combining people and animals vary, and you can request extra versions within your allowance.
How is my photo used?
It goes to our AI image provider for one job: creating your artwork. The original file is removed automatically after a set time, earlier on request, and it stays out of all advertising unless you explicitly agree.
