Cookie policy
Last updated: 20 October 2026
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in much the same way. This page explains the few we use and how you can control them.
Essential cookies only, by default
When you visit Pawzivra, we set only the cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work. Under UK law these do not need your consent, but we still want you to know what they are.
| Cookie | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
pz_sid | Session cookie. Keeps you connected to your order page after you open your secure link, and protects our forms against cross-site request forgery (CSRF), a type of attack where another website tries to submit a form in your name. Set only when needed, for example when you upload a photo or send a form. | Until you close your browser |
pz_draft | Links your browser to your Studio draft, so your photos, style choices and text stay with you as you move between steps and if you come back later. | 30 days, or until you order or start over |
pz_market | Remembers whether you chose our UK or US store, so we show prices in the right currency (GBP or USD) and the right delivery options. | 1 year |
If our team signs in to manage the site, the same session cookie keeps them signed in. If we switch on a bot check for our forms (Cloudflare Turnstile), Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary cookie on those forms to tell people from automated spam.
We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not use cookies to follow you around other websites.
Site statistics
We measure how our site is used with our own first-party statistics, collected on our own systems. They help us see which pages are useful and spot problems. They do not use third-party advertising cookies, and we do not share them with advertising networks. Our privacy policy explains what technical information this involves and how long we keep it.
PayPal
When you pay, you use PayPal's checkout. PayPal sets its own cookies on its pages and payment windows, for example to process your payment, prevent fraud and remember your preferences. These cookies are controlled by PayPal, not by us, and are covered by PayPal's own cookie statement.
Embedded maps
Some pages may offer an embedded map. Maps never load automatically. A map loads only if you click to show it, and at that point the map provider may set its own third-party cookies and receive your IP address. If you do not click, no map content or map cookies are loaded.
Controlling cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Most browsers let you see which cookies are stored, delete them one by one or all at once, and block cookies from particular websites or from all third parties. Your browser's help pages explain how.
If you block our essential cookies, parts of the site will not work properly. In particular, the Studio may lose your draft, forms may fail their security check, and we may not remember your store, so you could see prices in the wrong currency.
Changes and questions
If we add a cookie that is not strictly necessary, we will update this page and ask for your consent before setting it. If you have a question about cookies, email hello@pawzivra.com.
