About Pawzivra
Who we are
Pawzivra is an online studio that turns your photos into personalised pet portraits for customers in the United Kingdom and the United States. We use AI image generation, guided by styles we have designed and tested ourselves, to create artwork of almost any animal: dogs and cats, of course, but also horses, rabbits, parrots, tortoises, snakes, chickens and the occasional goat.
We work entirely online. There's no shop to visit and no phone line, but every email sent to hello@pawzivra.com is read and answered by a person.
What we stand for
- Honesty about AI. Our portraits are generated by AI, not painted by hand. We say so plainly, because you deserve to know what you're buying.
- Curated styles. We would rather offer a set of styles that work well than an endless list that works sometimes. Each one is tested on many species before it goes live.
- Text you can trust. Names, dates and dedications are set by our software, not the AI, so they're spelled exactly as you type them.
- Privacy by default. Your photos are used only to make your artwork. Originals are deleted after a set period, you can ask us to delete them sooner, and we never use them in marketing without your express permission.
- Clear policies. Our terms, refunds policy and privacy policy are written to be read, not buried.
How our styles are made and tested
Each style starts as a written brief: the look we're after, the palette, the composition and the details that matter most, such as keeping eye colour and markings intact. We turn that into detailed instructions for the image model, then test it on photos of many different animals, from short-coated dogs and long-haired cats to birds, reptiles and small pets.
When we review the results, we look for what owners notice first. Is it clearly the right kind of animal? Are the markings in the right places? Do the eyes look right? Styles that keep struggling with certain animals are reworked or held back until they're reliable. Even so, AI output varies, which is why every order includes the option to try another version and why we never promise an exact likeness.
Optional printed products are made by our professional print partner, who prints and dispatches to UK and US addresses. You approve a proof showing the crop and any text before you pay, so what arrives matches what you saw.
Editorial standards for our blog
Our blog covers pet photography, gift ideas, memorial keepsakes and the long tradition of animal portraiture. We write for pet owners first. When an article touches on animal health or welfare, we keep to general guidance and point you to vets and established charities rather than giving veterinary advice ourselves. We don't publish invented reviews or statistics, we link to sources where we rely on them, and we update articles when the facts change.
If you spot a mistake on the blog or anywhere else on the site, please email us. We'd much rather fix it than leave it.
