Terms and conditions

Last updated: 20 October 2026

About these terms

These terms apply when you use pawzivra.com and when you buy personalised pet artwork or printed products from us. Please read them before you order, because by placing an order you agree to them. Our privacy policy, refunds policy and shipping and delivery information also apply.

In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Pawzivra, and "you" means the person placing the order.

You can contact us by emailing hello@pawzivra.com.

Who can order

You must be 18 or over to place an order. Our service is intended for personal, non-business use. We currently sell to customers in the United Kingdom and the United States, and we deliver printed products to UK and US addresses only.

How ordering works

  1. You upload one or more photos of your pet, add your pet's name and type, and choose a style, orientation and any costume or scene.
  2. You can add text, such as your pet's name, a short dedication or a date, and check it in the live preview.
  3. You review your order, confirm that we can start creating your artwork straight away, and pay with PayPal.
  4. After payment, your artwork is created and we email you a secure link to your order page and downloads.

For printed products, you check the crop and text and approve a proof before you pay for the print.

A contract is formed when we email you to confirm your payment. We may decline an order before then, or cancel it afterwards with a full refund, if we cannot fulfil it, if a price shown was clearly wrong, or if the order breaks these terms.

AI-generated artwork

Your artwork is created by artificial intelligence, guided by our curated styles and the options you choose. It is not painted or drawn by a human artist.

AI results vary. Every image is newly generated, so two images made from the same photo and style will differ. We aim to keep your pet's species, face shape, markings and eye colour, but we cannot guarantee an exact likeness. Details such as backgrounds, accessories and fur patterns may be interpreted rather than copied. Clear, well-lit photos with your pet's face visible give the best results, and our photo tips explain how to choose one.

Sample images on our site, including those on style and collection pages, illustrate what a style looks like. They are examples, not a promise of how your artwork will turn out.

Each order includes extra versions that you can request from your order page using "Try another version". The number included is currently 2.

Your responsibilities

Photos you upload

You confirm that you took the photos you upload, or that you have permission from the person who did, and that using them to create your artwork will not infringe anyone else's rights. You keep ownership of your photos. You give us permission to use, copy and process them, and to share them with our service providers, only to create and deliver your order and as described in our privacy policy.

Acceptable use

You must not upload photos, text or instructions that:

  • show a person who has not agreed to it. Pet-and-owner portraits are welcome where every person shown has agreed, and a parent or guardian must agree for any child;
  • are unlawful, threatening, defamatory, hateful or harassing;
  • are sexual or sexually suggestive, or show cruelty to animals;
  • infringe someone else's copyright, trade mark or other rights;
  • try to recreate brand characters, cartoon or film characters, logos or other trade marks;
  • try to get around our systems, safety checks or limits.

We may refuse to create, or cancel, any order that we reasonably believe breaks these rules. If we do, we will refund you in full for anything we have not supplied. Our AI image provider also applies its own safety rules, which may block some images.

Text you add

You are responsible for any name, dedication, date or other text you add. Our software adds text after the image is created, so it appears exactly as you entered it, including spelling, capital letters and punctuation. Please check it carefully in the preview, and on the proof for printed products, before you pay. We are not responsible for mistakes in text you entered and approved, but contact us and we will help where we can.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) for the UK and US dollars (USD) for the US, depending on the market you choose. The full price, including shipping for printed products and any taxes that apply, is shown before you pay.

We accept payment by PayPal only. Depending on where you are, PayPal may let you pay with your PayPal balance or the card options it offers at checkout. Payment is taken when you complete checkout, and PayPal's own terms apply to your payment.

Discount codes we send you take a percentage off the digital portrait at checkout. Each code can be used once unless we tell you otherwise, has no cash value, can't be exchanged or combined with another code, and doesn't apply to printed products. A code that covers the full price places your order without payment.

Delivery of digital files

When your artwork is ready, we email you a secure link to download your high-resolution files. Most portraits are ready within an hour of payment. Busy periods or complex scenes can take longer. Times are estimates and can be longer at busy periods or if a provider is delayed.

Download links are valid for 30 days. If yours has expired, you can request a new one through our order lookup using your email address and order number, for as long as we still hold your files. Please download and save your files promptly.

Your licence to use the artwork

Once you have paid in full, we grant you a personal, non-commercial, non-exclusive licence to use, print and share your artwork. This means you can:

  • print it at home or through any printing service, for yourself or as a gift;
  • share it on social media and with friends and family;
  • use it as a wallpaper, profile picture or in personal cards and keepsakes.

Commercial use needs our written permission. This includes selling the artwork, putting it on products for sale, or using it in advertising or for any business purpose. To ask, email hello@pawzivra.com.

We will not use your artwork publicly, for example on our website or social media, without your permission.

Our intellectual property

The Pawzivra name and logo, the design and content of this website, and our styles, style descriptions, prompts, layouts and sample images belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy, scrape or reuse them except as the law allows or as these terms permit.

Printed products

Prints, framed prints, canvases and posters are made to order by our professional print partner and shipped to UK and US addresses. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed. Colours can look slightly different in print than on screen, because screens and print materials vary. Timeframes, tracking and customs are covered on our delivery page.

Cancellations and refunds

Digital artwork is personalised and created as soon as you pay, at your request. At checkout you agree that we can start straight away and acknowledge that you lose the usual 14-day right to cancel once creation begins. Printed products are personalised and made to order, so they cannot be returned for a change of mind.

We will still put things right if something goes wrong, including a full refund if we cannot create your artwork and a reprint or refund for damaged, faulty or misprinted items. The details are in our refunds, revisions and cancellations policy.

Our responsibility to you

If you live in the UK, you have legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including that digital content and goods are as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. Nothing in these terms affects those rights.

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that was not foreseeable. Our products are for private use, so we are not liable for any loss of profit, loss of business or business interruption.

We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and for breach of your statutory consumer rights.

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as an outage at our AI image provider, PayPal, our print partner or a courier. If this happens, we will let you know and, if we cannot deliver within a reasonable time, refund you for anything not supplied.

Suspending the service

We may suspend or change the site, a style, a product or the whole service, for example for maintenance, security or legal reasons, or because a provider is unavailable. If this affects an order you have paid for, we will tell you and either complete it as soon as we can or refund you for anything not supplied.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.

If you live in the United States, nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the law of your state that cannot be waived or limited by contract.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one shown on this page when you placed it. If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest will still apply.
