Character first, likeness close behind
This is the most playful style we offer. Your pet becomes an original character that looks ready for an animated film or a picture book: slightly larger eyes, a rounder head, simplified fur shapes and an expression dialled up a notch. Despite the exaggeration, the markings, colours and ear shape stay true, so the character is still obviously your pet.
Look and feel
Clean outlines, bright saturated colours, soft cel-style shading and a simple, cheerful background. The overall effect is friendly and fun rather than detailed or realistic.
Perfect for
Children's rooms, birthday gifts, family kitchens and anyone who wants to make people smile. It also suits pets with big personalities, such as the dog who steals socks or the hen who rules the garden.
Pets and photos
Expressive animals give the best cartoons: beagles, Jack Russells, Scottish fold cats, hamsters with bulging cheek pouches, budgies, ducks and bearded dragons. Use a clear, well-lit photo where the face is easy to read; a mid-blink or a mouth full of toy is harder to work from. Look at our photo suggestions before uploading.
Text and print options
A playful display font for the name, at the top or bottom, completes the look. Posters are a great match for children's rooms; art prints and canvases also work. If you would like a more grown-up illustrated result, compare the digital illustration style.
Each cartoon is an original AI-generated character in our curated style, not based on any existing film or franchise. Turn your pet into a cartoon.
About this style
Will my pet still look like my pet as a cartoon?
The style exaggerates features, such as bigger eyes and a rounder head, but keeps markings, colours and ear shape accurate. The aim is a pet you recognise at a glance, but because the result is AI-generated a likeness cannot be guaranteed. If something is off, use one of your included extra versions.
Can you make my pet look like a famous cartoon?
No. We create original characters only and do not copy the look of any film, studio or franchise. The cartoon is designed in our own friendly, animated style, which keeps your artwork unique and avoids using other people's creations.
What background works best for a cartoon?
A simple bright colour or soft pattern keeps the focus on your pet, and is the default. You can also choose a garden, a cosy living room or a sunny park. Busy scenes can distract from the character, so the simpler options often look best.
